I love this app! Just one thing. I’m not really sure if I’m getting the note right or not. maybe in the future you could add a new feature to where you can see like how far you need to tune and maybe an introduction to tuning for beginners. I know you are probably doing all you can but just for the future

Clear, simple and well-designed app. Perfect for tuning, guitar, cello, uke, and string instruments. Great for ear training too. And for just $.99, the (quite discrete) ads go away. Highly recommended.

I use voiceover on my iPhone because I am blind. This application is easy to use straightforward simple, but effective.

I like the app very much for the multiple instruments that it can be used with to tune your instrument very easy to use and very effective on an iPhone 11 running iOS 15.6.1

I use one hand on the phone and one on the string, then alternatively pluck each one. It’s super easy to hear off-pitch that way for me. Then guess the amount of turn, in small upward increments. Thanks!

I downloaded this app because it advertises working with voiceover. That is a great feature that most tuners are lacking. As a blind person I have been looking for something to tune my many instruments with. I gave this four out of five stars and would like to have given it five except for just one thing. I sometimes play alternate tunings and these are not available at this time. My hope is that in future versions of this we can address this. That would be particularly useful for those of us who play in open tuning instruments like dobro. Overall, this is a giant step forward for me as I need at times a tuner where I do not need to use my eyes in this working with voiceover is a godsend.

Been using this app for years on all sorts of different instruments. All the one star reviews come from either crappy musicians who can’t figure out how to use their ears or deaf people. People saying the pitches are off but can’t even tune by ear. What a joke 😂 if you need a tuner that’ll hold your hand and tell you when everything is correct because you still are a beginner and haven’t learned how to tune by ear, use something else.

Great four guitar restring and set up. I am blind and cannot see digital tuners. I still use a tuning fork, but this app makes it all hands free.

I have tried many many tuners, this has the least invasive ads, with most options for tuning. Really good app.

Solid, basic, useful. I’m a violinist and I don’t need more than an A but I like playing around and looking at all the other instruments tunings. I use this app every single day.

I tried it and it’s confusing how are you supposed to know if the string sound is correct? How are you going to know if the sound is correct if it never gives you a signal or sound that means the string is correct with it’s sound!

I’m old school and like keeping my ear in tune. I prefer a simple tuning fork or essentially, reference pitches. As advertised with no misleading claims, this app does not analyze tones. It simply provides those tones for you to tune against. It really is the healthiest way to keep your ear trained. Plus it provides quick easy reference tones for the most used string instruments we play, with no fuss and with simple visuals of the strings and open notes. And it’s free....dang! Update 12/2019 - Having forgotten I wrote a review, I was heading to say the same as I had. A dream to use.

So I have a viola and there aren’t a lot of good tuners out there to use. A lot of the ones I used before just didn’t work but this one did!! Works great for like every instrument. Thx!

The pitches are incorrect!!

This is a horrible app!! I tuned my cello for maybe 5 minutes and then it broke my A string! Definitely do not recommend this app.

If you like to tune by ear and/or just tune by ear to other instruments this is great little app. Can do Octaves and Tansposition. Has sine wave option if you typically prefer using a tuning fork or pitch pipe. Desperately needs the built-in recording of the Guitar B String re-recorded as half of it is screwed up.

This app is essential for me, it’s perfect for me to tune all my instruments and it always works!

The one for Viola is SOOO off!!!!! Not useful and the sound for Viola and violin isn't as sharp and clear as it should be! Fix this and you will be rewarded with 5 stars!

Nice app

This is a basic tuner although it helps a whole lot since I have good ears and it really works to tune my Viola. There are many more instruments to tune and I really love the fact it has multiple instruments to tune. I recommend this to people who have good ears to listen with and tune at the same time. 10/10 awesome app.

This is a great little tuner app. It does exactly what it says, plays tuned notes. It has several instruments but I use it just for the guitar. If you need an app to quickly tune your guitar like me, give it a try.

Normally I don’t use apps to tune my viola, but I was super excited for this one because of all the great reviews! However, when I tried to play all the notes, only static came out. That might just be because of my semi broken phone though.... has the same thing happened to anyone else?

...spreads to this app too. Even your awesome logo screen now looks like a boring flat shape. Gods forbid anyone maintains artwork with any depth in it. The new icon is somewhat an improvement though. That silver frame was unnecessary.

The only thing I would recommend adding is a feature that allows you to adjust the reference frequency not just by note chromatically. A440 is common, maybe add A432 as well. Not a big deal, just an idea. 5 of 5, would recommend.
